Raw Garlic Hummus
- 2 cans garbanzo beans
- 1 can white northern beans
- 1-4 cloves of garlic (raw or roasted)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ cup tahini
- 1 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 5 turns of the salt mill
Drain and rinse beans. Crush and peel garlic cloves. In food processor add all ingredients (put the beans in first) and blend for 5 to 8 minutes. Longer for creamier hummus, shorter for more texture.
Serve or refrigerate. Drizzle with olive oil and fresh ground cumin. Crunchmaster crackers are my faaaaavorite to eat this with. But you can dip any veggie, meat, chip….spread on bagels, put a dollop on your salad, add to a sandwich…..call me if you need more ideas….lol
